Ryan Michael Genn and Dieta Top the Field in $72,900 Grand Prix CSI2*

Traverse City, Mich. – June 21, 2020 – Prior to the conclusion of week one of the Traverse City Spring Horse Show, presented by Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, at Flintfields Horse Park, a substantial share of prize money was up for grabs for challengers in the $72,900 Grand Prix CSI2* on Sunday afternoon. With four countries represented, the international field included athletes from Chile, Ireland, Germany and the United States, as well as Friday’s champion in the $36,600 Welcome Stake CSI2*, Jonathan Corrigan (IRL), and past grand prix winners in Traverse City. Jumping to the lead spot, Ryan Michael Genn (USA) and Shannon Reid’s Dieta grabbed victory by more than a full second in the jump-off, adding another top finish to their repertoire following a fourth-place finish in Friday’s Welcome Stake.

Alexia Rule rode to the championship tricolors aboard Will O Moor Kingsman, owned by Cole Horn, in the Albion College Equestrian Equitation for the 15-17 age group following a clean sweep of all three classes. In the Tribute Equine Nutrition Adult Equitation, Madeline Baer piloted her own Baltic Soleil to three consecutive top results to claim the highest honors.

Traverse City, Mich. – July 31, 2020 – Friday morning at Flintfields Horse Park saw the second FEI class of the week for the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors LLC, in the form of the $36,600 T&R Development Classic CSI3*. A speed class, the contest attracted 53 entries representing seven countries to the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel International Ring for a well-fought battle of footspeed. Hot off a one-two victory the day prior in the $36,600 Welcome Stake CSI3*, Kristen Vanderveen (USA) maintained her momentum and clocked another efficient trip to add a second win in as many days to her collection aboard Bull Run’s Faustino De Tili, owned by Bull Run Jumper Five LLC.

Traverse City, Mich. – July 31, 2020 – Divisional competition for the Performance Hunters classes came to a close during the first half of Week Five at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors LLC, with champions crowned throughout the day Thursday. No strangers to the winner’s circle in Traverse City, Jacob Pope and Courtney Lenkart both piloted mounts to tricolors in their respective divisions. Pope and Summit Farms LLC’s Ravello topped the overall scorecard in the Performance 3’6” Hunters, while Wesley Clingman’s Deluxe carried Lenkart to the leading honors in the Performance 3’3” Hunter division.
