You don’t have to know show jumping to enjoy the horse show. Bring a friend and join us at Flintfields Horse Park for an afternoon of international sport, food, drinks, and company. We’ll help you find your footing.
A few basics
Horse and rider follow a set course of jumps, trying to leave every rail up and finish within the time allowed. A knocked rail adds penalties, or faults. A round with no penalties is a clear round. In a Grand Prix, riders tied with clear rounds return for a jump-off: a shorter course where the fastest clear round wins.
The announcer and scoreboard will help you follow along. During Major League Show Jumping’s Friday team competition, choose a team and cheer them on.
Enjoy the whole afternoon
Between rounds, browse Vendor Row and shops on The Hilltop for clothing, jewelry, art, home décor, and equestrian goods. Grab something to eat, meet friends for a drink, and enjoy the surroundings.
After the competition, join us for Après Prix. Fans are invited into the ring to see the jumps up close, enjoy entertainment, and meet the riders. Autograph sessions follow the press conference at the Cabana Coast Club on The Hilltop.
From Front Gate to Ringside
Check the schedule before you leave and give yourself time to park and get settled before your featured event. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a layer.
At the entrance, our staff can help with directions and questions, and shuttles will take you into the show grounds. Make your way to the International Ring, giving horses and riders room to pass and keeping pathways clear as you explore.
Come curious. You may leave with a favorite horse, rider, or team—and plans to return.
