A crowd of 2,500 gathered for our season finale, the $340,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ CSI5*-W Traverse City for the American Gold Cup presented by Frank & Eileen. The afternoon closed thirteen weeks of competition and opened the North American League’s road to the 2027 World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Thank you to everyone who made Traverse City part of their summer: the riders, owners, trainers, and grooms behind every round; the staff, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors who made the season possible; and the spectators who cheered from ringside. We’re grateful for the care you give your horses and one another, and for the community we share.
Before Sunday’s Grand Prix, we recognized three people whose contributions reflect that spirit—from mentoring riders and caring for horses to supporting the team behind the show.
The Glen Farm Trophy | Katie Prudent
Honoring the legacy of Mason Phelps, the Glen Farm Trophy recognizes Katie Prudent’s lasting contributions to show jumping. An Olympian, trainer, and co-founder of Road to the Top, Katie continues to open doors for the next generation of American riders through mentorship and opportunity.
The Mary Silcox Memorial Award | Heli Rincón
Heli Rincón received the inaugural Mary Silcox Memorial Award, recognizing dedication, service, and care for colleagues. The award remembers a cherished friend and teammate whose work behind the scenes helped shape our horse shows and whose example continues to guide our team.
Michael Meller Style of Riding Award | Lexi Ferder
Lexi Ferder received the Michael Meller Style of Riding Award for her class, sportsmanship, and horsemanship, from the jumper ring to the daily care of her horses. She competes out of Ilan Ferder Stables. Erynn Ballard, a 2018 recipient, presented the award on Michael Meller’s behalf.
