On-site parking is available at Flintfields Horse Park. Upon arrival, our front gate team will direct you to the appropriate lot.

We encourage early arrival and carpooling, especially during peak competition weeks and ticketed events, as attendance can be higher.

After parking, you may take a complimentary shuttle or enjoy a short walk to the show entrance. Venue maps are available at the gate or online to help you navigate the rings and hospitality areas.

Dress for a day outdoors. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended, as the venue is set on grass and farm terrain. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are smart additions, and it’s always a good idea to check the forecast—competitions run rain or shine.

Casual summer attire is perfectly appropriate, while some guests choose to dress up for featured competitions and hospitality areas.

Adirondack chairs and select seating are available, and guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for general admission areas. If you’re planning to stay awhile, settle in and enjoy the atmosphere—there’s no rush here.

Competition runs rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain or lightning, rings may be temporarily cleared for safety, and classes will resume as soon as conditions allow.

Thanks to world-class footing and drainage, cancellations are rare. However, weather in Northern Michigan can change quickly, and schedules may adjust throughout the day. We recommend checking the daily schedule online and following our social media channels for real-time updates.

Dress for the forecast, bring a light layer if needed, and plan to enjoy the day—rain showers often pass just as quickly as they arrive.
