Tickets Now Available for a Summer Full of Equestrian Action at Flintfields Horse Park

Traverse City Horse Shows (TCHS) is excited to launch its 10th season with twelve weeks of top-tier show jumping events, promising high-stakes competition, exciting entertainment, and exceptional hospitality. Athletes from around the globe will compete for over $7 million in prize money.

Season Highlights

The season starts with the Traverse City Spring Series, presented by Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, from June 5 through June 23. The series features the Southern Arches 4* Grand Prix, broadcast live on ESPN3. In the hunter rings, the USHJA International Hunter Derby Regional Championship and the $100,000 WCHR Central Hunter Spectacular, sponsored by Debbie Smith Ltd., take the spotlight.

Continuing the excitement, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, presented by B&D Builders, from July 3 through August 11 marks the decade milestone. This six-week series features weekly grand prix action and prestigious competitions such as the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC). Providing an Olympic format, NAYC showcases aspiring show jumping stars and will also be broadcast live on ESPN3.

To conclude the season, the Traverse City Tournament of Champions runs from September 5 through September 22. Highlighting the series is the Traverse City debut of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League World Cup Qualifier from September 11-15, 2024. This event not only kicks off a prestigious four-year partnership with TCHS but also serves as a qualifying round for the 2025 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Basel, Switzerland.

Matt Morrissey, Event Director, shares, “Every summer, Flintfields Horse Park transforms into a dynamic hub of equestrian excellence. We are particularly excited about the final two weeks, showcasing 5* competitions with top global talent. We’re thankful for the community’s warm welcome, which continues to play a crucial role in our success.”

For the season’s grand finale, the iconic American Gold Cup returns to Northern Michigan, celebrating its 54th year. Complementing this, the fast-paced team competition of Major League Show Jumping makes its exclusive stop in Traverse City this year to conclude the season.

Community Impact Through Charity Partnerships

Now in its third year, the TCHS Charity Ticket Program proudly continues its commitment to community support by donating 100% of weekly general admission revenues to local non-profits. This year, twelve deserving organizations have been selected, with TCHS aiming to raise $60,000 to collectively support these vital community services.

Beyond Show Jumping: Experience More at TCHS

Beyond competitive show jumping, Flintfields Horse Park transforms into a vibrant festival brimming with spectator activities, diverse culinary delights, and indulgent shopping. In addition to general admission seating, TCHS enhances the experience with premium seating options such as the Cabana Coast Box for six and individual passes to The Overlook and VIP Club. For our younger guests, the Dam Shop Horseless Jump Arena offers a delightful diversion!

Additionally, each Grand Prix event is enriched by live performances from renowned artists like Tim Jones, Jen Sygit, Miriam Pico, and Josh Davis, perfectly complementing the action in the ring.
