More comfort, new footing, and a smoother summer in the making.
While the rings may be quiet, the work hasn’t stopped.
We’re already making enhancements for 2026 that reflect your feedback, prioritize your experience, and keep raising the bar at Flintfields Horse Park—just as we did with the new bridle path added this past season.
Here’s what’s underway:
- Two new permanent barns—bringing the total to eight permanent barns and 880 stalls overall.
- Expanded paver walkways and drainage for the jumper complex—solving the mud-prone zones outside both in-gates.
- Footing upgrades by GGT Footing in multiple rings, including new computerized technology in the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel International Ring, installed by FEI footing specialist Christian Bauer.
- Permanent restrooms being added to the Southern Arches Pavilion.
- Additional parking areas being added to improve access and reduce congestion during peak weeks.
Long-term planning is also underway for expanded VIP and hospitality offerings. For more information and partnership inquiries, contact Audra@TraverseCityHorseShows.com.
These aren’t just cosmetic updates—they’re solutions rooted in how you work, move, and compete each day. We’re continuing to invest where it counts.
Thank you for making Traverse City part of your season. We’re building for you.
