Michigan Welcomes Top Junior Hunter Talent From Across the Country
The 2022 Adequan®/USEF Junior Hunter National Championship – East and USHJA Gladstone Cup will be held at Flintfields Horse Park during the 2022 Traverse City Horse Shows. The best young hunter talent will converge in Traverse City, MI, from June 28 through July 2.
After three weeks of competition during the Traverse City Spring Horse Shows, a bonus week of competition will shine a spotlight on hunter riders and crown new national champions in the junior hunter divisions. Since 2001, the Adequan®/USEF Junior Hunter National Championship has showcased the best junior hunter riders from across the country while providing the opportunity for riders to meet and spend time with follow competitors nationwide. Annually, over 2,000 eligible hunters qualify to compete in this prestigious final.

“It has been an honor for Traverse City Horse Shows to host a varied offering of championships for both hunter and jumper riders throughout the last several years, and we are pleased to add the Adequan®/USEF Junior Hunter National Championship – East to that prestigious list,” said Matt Morrissey, Director of Traverse City Horse Shows. “Since the inception of the Traverse City Horse Show Hunter Incentive Program, we have made a huge effort to celebrate the hunter divisions while giving them a platform to excel in big classes with top prize money. To be able to showcase our efforts to the top junior riders in the country is an honor.”

Preceding Junior Hunter Finals, Traverse City Horse Shows offers several opportunities for hunters, including a USHJA WCHR week, a $100,000 Hunter Spectacular, and two weeks of AA hunter competition.
