The Traverse City Open Sales Auction returns during GLEF III as part of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, presented by B&D Builders. Now in its second year, the event continues to grow as part of the season at Flintfields Horse Park.
An Evening of Sport & Sales
Held Saturday, July 18, immediately following the $116,000 World Wide Technology CSI3* Grand Prix, the live auction brings together sport, hospitality, and international horse sales, with bidding available both onsite and online.
Developed in partnership with Paul Schockemöhle, the Traverse City Open Sales Auction will feature approximately 15 international horses presented throughout the evening.

With the 2026 season approaching, competitors and spectators are encouraged to begin planning their summer in Traverse City, including stall reservations, housing, and travel arrangements for the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival.
